| The bridge bearing is a key part of bridge structure, which delivers the applied forceand deformation upper parts to lower parts of the bridge, and adapts the tiny twirl of girdercaused by temperature, concrete creep, displacement and flexure of the bridge. The CADsystem of pot rubber bearing based on SolidWorks was developed in this paper. The maintexts are listed as follow:1) The design parameters of the pot rubber bearing are determined and the calculationmodules of bearing parts are designed according to the design guidelines and referencestandard of bridge bearing at home and abroad. In addition, the critical dimensions of thecritical parts are calculated optimally.2) The template models of the parts, assembly and engineering drawing of the potrubber bearing are established by using the parameterization method and analyzing thestructure features of it. The template models are drived by Visual Basic language, whichrealizes updating and reestablishment of the models automatically. The adjustmenttechnique of the engineering drawing is presented specific to the problems caused byprocess driving.3) The basic steps of Finite Element Analysis are introduced and simplifiedmechanics analysis is made for the critical parts. The Finite Element Analysis is made bythe Simulation software after establishing the simplified mathematical model in order tomaking the model generated automatically by the procedure to fit to actual generationdemand.The second development of SolidWorks is carried out by use of Visual Basic andMicrosoft Office Access in this research. The system could be operated simply, not onlyrefraining from tedious calculation for engineers, but also realizing parametric modelingand generation of engineering drawing according to the data calculated. What is more, theFinite Element Analysis for the critical parts could be achieved, which provides certainpractical values. |
