At first, this thesis comprehensively describes the development future of power electronics techniques and the present development condition of multilevel inverter.lt also simply compares three-level inverter with two-level inverter to embody the important significance of this thesis.Secondly, from introducing the basic principle of two level voltage space vector, and then puts forward the concept of the three level, this thesis systemeticly analyses the inherent property of three-level inner vectors, and the vector systems are classified. It presents two kinds of control algorithms to fulfill this system, detailedly introduces the concrete fulfillment process of each kind of algorithm and demonstrates the feasibility and validity of the corresponding algorithm with full and accurate data and diagrams.Finally, this thesis simulates the presented three-level SVPWM algorithm of based on non orthogonal a-β coordinate system with MATLAB, presents the open loop and closed loop simulation results. On the base of detailed analysis about simulation results, the advantages of three-level inverter are summarized.What is more, developed three-level converter control device(DCU), based on the three-level IGBT converter platform, and by using the proposed algorithm, the three-level converter control experiments are carried through; the system closed loop experimental waveforms are obtained, the feasibility of hardware control device and correctness of the algorithm are proved.
