With China’s rapid economic development, the tallest building in China’s construction of more and more common, and the basis of the high-rise buildings is an important part of the high-rise building structural system. Because the basis of the high-rise buildings bear the load transfer to the foundation of the important role of the upper structure of the high-rise buildings, high-rise building superstructure, foundation and foundation design should consider together. Based cost accounting for the proportion of the total cost of the building, how to choose the form of a reasonable basis, so as to satisfy the requirements and economic performance requirements of the use of the building is an important issue.Access to a large number of documents on the basis of the main form of high-rise buildings based on the characteristics and scope of application are reviewed, with specific examples of projects it form the basis of a separate foundation, raft foundation, box foundation and pile foundation design, and its structure and economic performance analysis. Structural performance is the calculation of the bearing capacity, anti-punching, conducted a comprehensive analysis on the economic performance of several forms of construction technology, construction efficiency, and ultimately chose a suitable basis for the form of engineering examples.Found by this study:(1) performance from a technical point of view, pile foundation is undoubtedly the best. Pile foundation with high bearing capacity, settlement small.(2) economic performance point of view, flat-raft foundation construction technology easiest the least construction process, the shortest period, the economic and technical indicators.(3) In the basic program is selected, both technical and economic performance should consider. Economic performance, priority should be given to an independent foundation or strip foundation, followed by a raft foundation, pile foundation; technical performance should be based on the specific circumstances of the superstructure and foundation in turn elected on the basis of economic performance programs for structural analysis, to choose the best solution of the technical and economic performance.The conclusions of this study. I hope to be able to provide some help for the construction counterparts on the basis of selection.
