According to the actual application, the pipe-end shoud cut the welded bevel with the pipe used in welding. Beveling machine is an important infrastructure for pipe end slope-mouth manufacturing. Currently, the processing quality of the traditional beveling machine is still unable to satisfy the requirement of pipe welding. Therefore, the research and development of new beveling machine meeting all actual requirements in the quality and capacity of the processing is imminent.At the present, processing pipe end slope-mouth with the original method is still poor quality, high costs, lower speed, inefficient, great labor intensive and control quality difficultly. This paper designs a pipe automatic beveling machine to solve this problem. Introduced pipe automatic beveling machine principles, the spindle system, the servo feed system, the clamping system and the floating cutter were also analyzed elaborately. The project chooses SolidWorks software to modeling every main part, and assembles them together based on the virtual design system. Then analysis and optimization improvements to the base by using finite element analysis method. The control program of beveling system was also proposed, it realize the pipe handling rapidly, positioning and clamping reliably and cycle processed automatically.Proved by the use of enterprise, beveling machine performance is stable, easy to operate, greatly improving production efficiency, but also improve the quality of pipe end slope-mouth.
