In this article, at first the several S-types of bellows membranes sets are made by changing the number of membranes from5to25, and FEM analysis are conducted by considering the DN100S-type Bellows. Then the relevant displacements at loading boundary are obtained from numerical computation, and the relationship between stiffness and the number of bellows membranes are analyzed in detail. Finally, a simplified mathematical model is established for calculating stiffness of S-type bellows by using the least square method. Moreover, DN55S-type bellows membranes also chose and the calculated stiffness with this model and FEM method is comparatively analyzed and the validity of this model is improved. All these offered simplified mathematical model for calculation of S-type bellows stiffness. Moreover, set up new simplified mathematical model for calculation of S-type bellows stiffness by introducing In-Diameter as one of variables. Thus, when we kept the shape of bellows membranes the same, we can get the stiffness of bellows membranes whenever we change the In-Diameter value according to the actual needs. Substituted the values gained from FEM into matching-researched by the leading-edge Institute of of computing, Xinjiang University. Matched the best damping parameter, quality, Stiffness and got the graph of amplitude ratio-speed of Plain Bearings of before and after optimization.
