Research For Conceptual Design In Office Space

The main research direction of this thesis is the application of conceptual design in office space, which is the trend in of indoor space design as the design method in modern times. The scope of the study belongs to the design method of the indoor space design. The focus of this paper is the extraction and expression of design concept for the specific scope of office space.With the development of social economy, and the Improving requirements of workers on the better work environment, the interior decoration of office space is not only to provide a comfortable office environment for office staff, but more becomes a symbol of business office concept and the enterprise image and reflect. The conceptual design of office space is not only to the contemporary culture and the social civilization, but also to better cater to the needs of the people. The process of conceptual design is designers through the rational understanding of the office space property, extraction of design concept, and leading by the concept, make overall space design by the arrangement of materials, lighting, color, accessories and so on. Designers must be investigated, studied and compared according to many aspects of their own culture, office business concept, the office staff’s individual needs, experience a trade-off and keep up process, and then apply the design methods show, when they are doing office space conceptual design work. The application of conceptual design to the modern office space, one can meet the demand for modern office work, improve work efficiency, establish a better corporate image for the company, on the other hand, for office space in China’s interior design industry development provides a new way of thinking, expand a development way.In this paper, the development of office space classification, its special paper, and the analysis of the specific office space interior space environment ware showed firstly. Secondly, the conceptual design of the office space was discussed, attempting from the social and historical environment, people on the requirements of working conditions, design development, the concept of office space design method, and combining the concrete design project analysis. Finally, the author summarized the problems in the design process and the development trend of the conceptual design in the office space. Conceptual design not only makes us have a more rational, deeply and systematic understanding of office space design, but also has certain significant guiding in our office space design practice, furthermore it promotes the development of office space design.
