With the continuous decrease of non-renewable energy, the significance of renewableenergy has been realized, consequently, it has become the most important goals to developand make rational use of energy for sustainable development. With the rapid developmentof wind power technology, the design and development of wind turbines has receivedgreat attention by scientists and technicists from various countries. At present, the speedincreasing box in cabin is one of the core components for the double fed wind drivengenerator, with the increasing of the installed capacity, in-depth research for the gear drivemechanism in large-scale wind turbine is particularly important. The fault of gearbox ismainly because of gear failure which mainly due to the vibration caused by the process oftransmission, therefore, the vibration analysis for speed-increasing gearbox and avoid thephenomenon of resonance has become the most important subject. The increasing gearbox in2MW wind driven generator which produced by ShenyangBlower Works Wind Power Group Corporation was taken as the main research object, interms of the given parameters, the gear system in gearbox was parameterized designed andmodeled by the Pro/E software, simplified the complex mechanism by reasonableassumptions, and the components is precise assembled, then the meshing stiffness curve isobtained through the contact analysis for the third stage parallel shaft gear system byANSYS, after the meshing stiffness curve and the error curve are synthesized, the internalincentive curve can be calculated. After that the natural frequency and the modes ofvibration are obtained through the model analysis for the whole configuration of the firststage, second stage planetary gear train and the third stage parallel shaft gear system, thevibration reason and vibration mode was analyzed by comparing the frequency with thegear mesh frequency, so the system structure can be optimized. Finally, the internal incentive curve is imposed at gear meshing area, the vibrationcharacteristics at the third stage parallel shaft gear system is discussed by the method oftransient dynamics. The dynamic response curve of high-speed output gear, which includethe displacement, velocity, acceleration response curve at the node of axes, is obtained by using spring-damping unit instead of the bearing, thus the theoretical basis for design geardrive mechanism can be provided.
