Concrete offers attractive properties, particularly economy and durability, which have madeit the most widely used construction material. Concrete is essential for modern industrial andpublic buildings, roads, tunnels and bridges. Generally, concrete was thought to be resistant to allharmful effects. The many examples of damage demonstrate the contrary: concrete is vulnerable.Concrete structures are in peril.Anti-corrosive coating is a preventive measure which is economical and effective in itsfamily. Compared to a variety of anti-corrosive coating schemes, we summarize the advantagesand disadvantages of the various anti-corrosive schemes, then different schemes for differentenvironment are recommended. This thesis consists five chapters:Chapter1presents a review of the problems and the necessary of anti-corrosive of concretestructures. After that, the outline of research is presented. This includes the background, contents, survey, key points, etc. These are the basis for research.Chapter2focuses on the anti-corrosive coating technologies for concrete structure. Threefactors are considered in this chapter: technical standards in China and abroad, designrequirements of anti-corrosive coating, and materials of anti-corrosive coating. These are thefoundation for the further research.Chapter3provides the anti-corrosion and preventive countermeasures. Also, we do someresearch on the contents of anti-corrosion and prevention: technical schemes, parts of corrosionprevention, construction methods, effect testing methods and quality guarantee.Chapter4provides a case study and the analysis of economy. Engineering practice show thatgood economic and social benefits have been achieved. The last chapter provides a comprehensive summary and discussion of the researchconclusions. |
