Nowadays, more and more digital technologies have been applied in thearchitecture field, and are penetrating into the whole process from design tofabrication. These technologies make the collection, processing and transmission ofarchitectural information more accurate and fast. Either during the design process orat the final stage, architects need to export the idea or information for expressing orconstructing with some corresponding technologies, which are defined as DigitalArchitectural Information Outputting Technology by the author. In this thesis, the author classified different kinds of architectural digitaltechnologies through literature researches, and discussed how the CNC technologies, especially the3D printing technology, are used in construction by case studies. This paper is composed of five chapters. The first chapter is the introduction part, which mainly introduced the background, the aim of research, the domestic andforeign current status, the purpose and significance of the research, followed by maincontent and structure. The second chapter is the theory carding part. It contains thedefinition of Architectural Information Outputting Technology, its digital developmenttrend and specific classification. The third chapter is the case study part. By using alarge number of examples, the author discussed the application of CNC technologiesin constructing in this part. The forth chapter is the experiment part. It explored howto print a revit model by using a open source3D printer. The fifth chapter is theconclusion part, which summarized the main results and shortages of this research, and forecasted the architectural application of CNC technology in the future.
