The paper introduces the mechanism of clean water diversion,and the examples athome and abroad,as well as the basic potential function and the correspondingsolving method of the one-dimensional hydrodynamic and water quality model forriver networks. According to the simulation and calculation of Fuzhou clean waterdiversion process and gate and water pump run condition, the paper syntheticallyanalyzed simulation result of the affect of clean water diversion, Summarizes theshortage of current situation; extracted the key cross section and analyze the hydraulicconnection,evaluated the condition of three river systems in and among them. At last,the paper summarized the problem and reasons of clean water diversion project.According to the existing inadequate of project, proposed the gate controlmeasures.When the water stage of Minjiang river is higher than inner rivers,close thegate,otherwise open it. The result shows that regulate the gate respectively is betterby comparing to unified regulation.In order to improve the effect of water fill water at the mouth, the paper proposedfour measures about more pumping spot and set gate to control water. Throughsimulation and comparison of four measures, we could conclude that the measurewhich set gates on Jinan River and Fengban River can increase the diversion water toriver mouth system, improve the water quality. To summarize, the water quality ofFuzhou urban river network is better because of take advantage of measures the paperproposed.
