With the rapid development of global industrialization and rapid growth ofpopulation, the demand of energy is increasing, which make the energy crisis moreand more serious. Now, many countries have developed renewable energy such asphotovoltaic power generation to solve this problem. Stand-alone PV system with DCbus has broad application prospects in remote areas and on the coastal islands,reasonable control strategy is directly related to the stability of the entire system andthe efficiency of the PV system. Therefore, this paper focuses on the PV powergeneration system, summarizes the system architecture, points out the significance ofthe subject and research content, then research on the control strategy of Stand-alonePV system.Firstly, this paper analysis the principle of the generation of solar photovoltaiccells, and make an engineering mathematical model. Then get the outputcharacteristics of the photovoltaic cells based on the engineering mathematical model,at the same time, using fuzzy control algorithm to achieve maximum power pointtracking control of photovoltaic power generation system. Secondly, analyze theadvantages and disadvantages of the conventional charging method of battery, andthen get an improved three-stage charging method of battery combined with the owncharacteristics of stand-alone photovoltaic power generation system. Thirdly,summarize different control modes of the stand-alone PV system based on differentenvironment and states of the system, then put forward a coordinated control strategyof the whole system. Finally, established a simulation model of the system usingMATLAB, and then make simulate study to verify the rationality and feasibility of theproposed coordinated control strategy.
