Cable tension test based on the vibration method is widely used in arch bridge.Inrecent decades, domestic and foreign scholars have done a large number of in-depthresearch and achieve remarkable results,but there are some defects when the cable issupported with one end pinned and the other end fixed and the method is used in highorder vibration frequency.The text makes research on the cable tension test:(1) According to the cable in the state of work,there are four models:tensionstrings, cable with two ends pinned, cable with one end pinned and the other end fixed,cable with two ends fixed. Based on the basic assumptions,the text gives the formulasderivation,pratical formulas and the process of the formulas used in engineering.Nondimensional parameters is used for the division of analogous string model andanalogous beam model,and that is the intersection of the analogous string curve and theanalogous beam curve.(2) The text establishes the finite element model by ANSYS,and using the modalanalysis to examine the accuracy of the formulas.The formulas in this text arecompared with the formulas in typical references.Based on that,the text gives theaccuracy of formulas and the innovation points.(3) Based on Yuhe bridge in Pingcheng street, Datong city,the text gives cabletension test method and the equipment.In order to examine the accuracy and theapplicable condition of the formulas corresponding to the four model,the text make acomparison of the results of four formulas.In order to prove that the frequencies ofdifferent order can return to the same cable force value,the frequencies of differentorder is used to calculate the cable force.(4) Based on the construction monitor project of Yuhe bridge,the text analyses thecable force in different construction stage of the bridge,and examine whether the cableforce of the bridge is uniform and meet the design target or not.
