Although Concrete-Filled Steel Tube Arch Bridge as a kind of relatively novelbridges has been got more and more wide application in our country, due to thetheoretical study relatively lags behind in engineering practice, a group of these bridgessuffer different degrees of problems which focused on the poor dynamic performance,especially increasingly bridges vibration problems under heavy load. Moreover, theresearch of dynamic performance is relatively rare which offers lack correspondingguidance of bridges design. Based on the background of Changqing bridge, this articleprovides a comprehensive research analysis from bridge inspection, the static anddynamic consolidation design to design evaluation.Vehicle-Bridge coupled system as a complex vibration system, its analyticalsolutions are relatively difficult to calculate, so in most case the numerical solutions aretend to be find. The separation of the modified iterative method thought is adopted inthis article, using D′Alembert′s principle to deduce planar4DOF vehicle model, thegeneric procedure of vehicle-bridge coupled system solution based on ANSYS FEMgeneral software are described, considered practical situation like Unevenness of bridgedeck, climbing effect and beams effect. This program is illustrated that can be used as atool to solute and evaluate bridge vibration problems by preliminary validation.The correctness of bridge diseases diagnosis is a key of success in bridgereinforcement and reconstruction. Based on analyzing detailed Changqing bridgeinspection results, this article points out that insufficient entire vertical stiffness, localstiffness and the motion of beams effect are the main reasons caused bridge deckpavement damage. In addition, this article introduces the main problems of ANSYSmodeling and analyzes the self-vibration features of Changqing bridge.This paper gives detailed reinforcement design of Changqing bridge based onbridge inspection results, self vibration characteristics and construction feasibilityanalysis. Using vehicle-bridge coupled system solution program to make deflectiontime-history analysis, dynamic inner-force time-history analysis, driving comfortevaluation and risk assessment, proved the feasibility of bridge construction, whoseresults demonstrate good reference value for reinforcement designs of other domesticsimilar bridges.
