It is gernerally known that global warming is becoming a serious problemwhich is mainly caused by greenhouse gas. Instead of totally depending onground-base observatories which may causes a large error, we need to regard a highluminous flux and spectral resolution spectrometer as a load which time modulationFourier Spectrometer can be an ideal choice to detect the concentration from theair. There should be a high demand of both detection sensitivity and accuracy of thespectrometer due to the slight variation of greenhouse gases’ concentration in theatmosphere, and as a result, it is quite important to do research and anlayze the straylight in its optical system. This paper includes the design of a time modulationFourier Spectrometer and an analysis of its stray light, and finally suggestions onstray light suppression, which mainly include the followings.(1)A set of designed temporal modulation of Fourier Specrometer systemaccording to the require of detecting greenhouse gas, which mainly include thefollowings:1、studying on the principle and structure of the Fourier TransformSpectrometer;2、 Contrast researching on the core load of the SCISAT-1satelliteand GOSAT satellite and making suggestions on the design of this spectrometeroptical system according to its function;3、 setting not only project demonstrationbut also index demonstration on this optical system according to the designrequirements;4、completing the design of this optical system which is divided intoan input optical subsystem, an interferometer optical subsystem and an outputoptical subsystem by using ZEMAX; and evaluating the designed optical system’simage quality.;(2)A series of analysis on stray light of the time modulated Fourierspectrometer system and measures of stray light suppression, which mainly includethe followings:1、researching on the advanced stray light analysis technology;2、analyzing the stray light of this designed time modulated Fourier Spectrometersystem by using Tracepro;3、devising stray light suppression measures according tothe analytical data;4、testing the effectiveness of the suppression measures in orderto ensure that the SNR of the optical system meet the design requirements.
