The domestic shipbuilding enterprises have changed to assemblyshipbuilding mode gradually after2000, while under the assemblyshipbuilding mode, dock is the most important production resources, soshorten the shipbuilding cycle in the dock is the one of the most importantmeans for shipbuilding companies to shorten the shipbuilding cycle. The newboring methods of the rudder and shaft system at platform which isintroduced in this thesis makes boring job of the rudder and shaft system atplatform stage instead of at the dock stage where the old boring style of shaftand rudder system was operated after engine room erection finished, andreduces the difficulty of shaft and rudder system boring job greatly, increasesthe efficiency and quality of boring job, and this new boring method is thetypical action which forward the work from the dock to the platform. Withthe driven by the new boring method, a large number of outfitting works forward, not only the dock cycle can be shortened significantly, but theintegrity of launching also is improved, and it plays a decisive role atshortening mooring period as well. However, this new boring methodrequires much higher accuracy level of the shipbuilding enterprise, so thoughdescription by a large number of graphics and appearance, the promotion ofnew boring methods of the rudder and shaft system at platform are discussed,and the thesis not only describes the difference between the new method andthe old rudder shaft boring process, but also introduced the principles andworkflow of boring methods of the rudder and shaft system at platform, andshows the accuracy assurance foundation and the specific implementationmeasures, and listed accuracy control optimized jobs which are specially forthe erection of the rudder and shaft bored sections, and then discussed theprocedure of the erection of the rudder and shaft bored sections, finally clearthe good results for the forwarding of the outfitting installation by the newmethods of the rudder and shaft system at platform, and pointed out forwarddirection of further shortening the shipbuilding cycle in the dock the based onthis new boring methods of the rudder and shaft system at platform.
