New energy is abundant and friendly to the environment. Wind energy is the mostprospects for large-scale development and utilization of renewable resources in recentyears. Wind power system is one of the most important and widely used new energypower generation system.Based on the analysis of the principle of wind power generation system, the impactof power flow and line loss is intense researched when large-scale wind power connectedto the power system. Then the active and reactive power optimization for wind powersystem has been studied. And the software of theoretic calculation and analysis system ofline loss is developed.Firstly, the characteristics of wind power, the reasons of affecting wind power gridand the impact of large scale wind power on power system line loss have been analyzed inthis paper. The analysis of three kinds of means to deal with the impact of wind power onthe system is to ensure the processing mode of different lode transformer substation andline. Secondly, the wind power output characteristics are analyzed in this paper, and thecontrol methods of wind power output are also introduced. Analysis of wind power controlof active and reactive power optimization to build based on the minimum the active powerloss function. The power balance, node voltage, transformer tap position changes in scopeand node voltage security are taken as the constraints. The discrete particle swarmoptimization algorithm is used to get a minimum line loss of active and reactive poweroptimization scheme. Finally, the software of quantitative analysis of wind power ontheoretical line loss is developed. And the controllable active and reactive analysis moduleis also included. According to the actual sampling data of a certain power network, Afterthe wind farms connected to the grid system, the active and reactive power optimizationare respectively calculated. The theoretical line loss of data including wind power andwithout that is analyzed.The impact of large scale wind power on power system line loss is researched in thispaper. The developed software can quantify wind power access on the effect of the line loss. The solution to reduce the line loss by the analysis can be put forward.
