The gradual deterioration of the natural environment, the rapid increase of energyconsumption and the shortage of resources, wind power technology has become a hotresearch from various countries in order to respond to this global challenge. With the rapiddevelopment of wind power, wind power has become an indispensable power supply.Wind power is usually connected to the city grid to transport electricity to the power grid,but reasons such as lightning strikes, equipment failures and grid scheduling may makewind power generation system automatically or not automatically enter the off-gridoperation. By losing the support of the grid, it may cause a mismatch between the windpower generation power and load demand and cause the output voltage and frequency cannot meet the load requirements, so that the wind power generation system can not properlyoperate independently.It usually need to switch control strategy for running independently,but the switching process takes islanding detection and testing time and runningindependently of the system does not work in the case of no wind. To solve this problem,this paper designs a control strategy of doubly fed wind power generation system based onthe energy storage device, so that the wind power generation system can work in networkoperation or independent operation without switching control strategies.This paper first analyzes the principle of double-fed wind power generation, andestablishes the mathematical model of the doubly-fed generator in three-phase stationaryreference frame, derives mathematical model under the two-phase rotating reference frameby coordinate transformation. Analysis and derivate the control strategy of networkoperation and independent operation of the doubly-fed wind power generation systembased on the characteristics of doubly-fed generators; Then analysis of the workingprinciple of the battery and establish an equivalent circuit model, design double-fed windpower generation system based on battery energy storage device control strategy based onPWM converter mathematical model and controller parameters are calculated, so that thewind power generation system can run in network operation and independent operate inthe same kind of control strategy. Further study of the battery capacity configuration in wind power, the calculation method is given. Apply MATLAB/simulink simulationsoftware to build a simulation system and verify the effectiveness of the control strategy.Finally, design the digital processor TMS320F2407A DSP as the core of the controlsystem and complete the system control software programming and debugging,experiment with the laboratory11kW doubly fed wind power generation systemsimulation platform, the experimental results validate the control scheme of this studyfeasibility and correctness.
