With the rapid development of modern city, a lot of people and logistics need totransport every day. Because of the limit of the wire rope materials, lifting height andspeed has certain restrictions. In the general lifting system, a motor can drive a carcompartments. Therefore, a large area has been invested for lifting system in high-risebuildings to improve its load capacity. The lifting system is driven by the linear motorbreaks the restriction of the traditional hoist cable lifting system. Therefore, as a reliableand efficient lifting system, it is the development direction of future lifting system.In this paper, the research status of the linear motor was summarized, theadvantages and disadvantages of the various existing linear motor and the liftingsystems driven by them were discussed. From the view of system design, The wholeproject of lifting system driven by the permanent magnet flux-switching motor wasdesigned and researched combined with the characteristics of the lifting system. Thedriving motor and braking scheme were mainly designed and analyzed. Based onanalysis and comparison of the performance and structure characteristics, the permanentmagnet linear flux switching motor as driving motor was introduced, which uses thehigh performance permanent magnetic materials and its secondary has simple structure.The mathematical model of the PMLFSM of was deduced. Based on the design of theswitched reluctance motor, the PMLFSM was preliminarily designed, the simulationresearch on PMLFSM by using the finite element software was given, the influences ofmotor performance by parameters was analyzed, the optimal design parameters wasgiven, and the permanent magnet linear synchronous motor used by the completedlifting system were compared. From the view of safety, eddy current brake as one ofauxiliary braking modes was presented. The mathematical model of the eddy brakingforce was deduced, and the characteristics of eddy braking by finite element modelingwere analyzed and researched. In addition, in this paper the common topology structureof the lifting system was discussed, and combining the characteristics of the new typearc motor the circular well lifting system structure was designed, the pantographstructure was analyzed, the slide rail power modes were designed, etc. The study in thispaper is significative for the establishment of a complete lifting system of the linear motor drive system.
