Industrial automation technology is the application of control theory,instrumentation, computers and other information technology. It includes industrialproduction processes for detection, control, optimization, scheduling, managementand decision, which can increase production quantity, improve quality, reduceconsumption, and ensure security purposes comprehensive technology.This paper presents the automation retrofit scheme of existing Polycarboxylatesuperplasticizer automation production line. In the premise of not changing theprocess, it integrated automation control technology. Automatic control system basedon industrial computer as the central control unit, MPU control unit. Distributedsystem connected network by RS-485bus which can realize the automation ofproduction, safety monitoring, remote information sharing and related auxiliarycontrol.During the implementing the automation scheme, the polycarboxylatesuperplasticizer in concrete production raw material control, reactor temperaturecontrol, AB control, with pH control process of the collection and study of data,combining the real-time control of chemical reaction characteristics and productionprocess of computer requirements. We implemented many algorithms, including theexperience type reactor temperature control non-equilibrium regulation algorithm,prediction of AB material dropping control tracking algorithm, for material controland pH control of asymptotic approximation algorithm. Our system can process to thetracking observation and record1months data, make the factory production processmaterial precision, accuracy.Our automation control program apply finally the reliable, accurate control,convenient operation, data security, improve product quality, reduce the laborintensity of the workers. Factory obtains high praise, promote the use of thisautomatic control scheme for chemical industrial automation to produce positiveeffect, and bring long-term economic benefits.
