Nowadays, all kinds of domestic gas stoves are increasing with the continuousdevelopment of city gas industry. In China, most of the domestic gas stoves use injectedpartially-aerated combustion mode, and its main characteristics are: part of air thecombustion needs is injected by gas and incomplete combustion phenomenon exists, sothe thermal efficiency is not high and pollutant concentration in the combustion productis also high, thus it reduces the indoor air quality. Overseas domestic gas stovesgenerally use pre-aerated combustion mode, though it has certain advantages in thethermal efficiency and emissions of harmful substances, the heat load is small and can’tmeet the requirement of cooking in China. Therefore, through the analysis of thecharacteristics of gas premixed combustion and the generation mechanism of NOxandCO in combustion products, this paper design a new-type air-blasting premixeddomestic gas stove according to the theory of combustion. It’s able to improve thethermal efficiency of domestic gas stoves, reduce emissions of harmful substances inthe smoke and ensure the quality of cooking.The paper theoretically analyses the existing problems and reasons for the lowthermal efficiency of domestic gas stoves, and use the injected premixed combustionmethod in view of the existing domestic gas stoves. What’s more, it puts forward theidea of using air-blasting premixed combustion method on the domestic gas stoves,equipping it with small speed-controlled fan and determining the nominal heat input ofthe burner is4.2kW and the area of flame port is934mm2.Firstly, the topic depicts the flame combustion characteristic curve of air-blastingpremixed domestic gas stove and determines the region of flame stabilization throughthe flame stability experiment on the air-blasting premixed domestic gas stove.Secondly, by the orthogonal experiment of thermal performance characteristics on theair-blasting premixed domestic gas stove, it obtains the influence degree that gaspressure, loading height and excess air ration acts on the CO, NOxand O2content in theproducts of combustion and thermal efficiency. After that, by the thermal performancetest on burner, it analyses the rules and reasons that thermal performance appraisalindicators change along with different gas pressures and primary air rations, anddetermines the best experiment condition point under each gas pressure. Then, by theflame temperature characteristic experiment on the gas stove, it obtained the flame temperature distribution in different gas pressures and measuring points. Finally, by theregular thermal performance experiment on the gas stove, it further reveals the changerules of the gas stove’s thermal performance indicators in different gas pressures andloading heights, and determines the loading height in the optimal combustion condition.According to the above experiments and researches, it can obtains that in thenominal gas pressure, the actual heat input of the new-type air-blasting premixeddomestic gas stove is4.2kW, and it can meet the use requirements of domestic gas stovein China. Meanwhile, adjusting the loading height H to15mm can make the thermalefficiency for the stove69.99%, which is far above the national standard for the thermalefficiency of domestic gas stoves; at present, in the smoke, CO(α=1)content is118.4ppm,while NOxα=1content is57.2ppm, and it can meet the standard for pollution discharge.Therefore, it can be seen that the new-type air-blasting premixed domestic gas stove hasthe characteristics of energy saving and environmental protection, which can benefit forsaving the cost of living energy consumption for residents, improve the quality of theair inside the kitchen, and provide a reference for further optimizing domestic gasstoves.
