Energy is the basis and guarantee of social sustainable development, also thestrategic focus of economic work in our nation. Due to the difficulties in massproduction and supply of energy, enersy saving becomes important and urgent.Construction cauces large energy consumption, energy consumption has counted inmore than1/3of the total social energy consumption. Compared with foreign countries,China’s housing construction energy consumption is3times of that of developedcountries under the same climatic conditions. Therefore, researches on energyconservation in construction should be done without delay.Foreign countries have done a lot of research on energy consumption. In China,schoolers have done researches on energy saving in stage of design and use, few haveanalyzed the energy consumption at the stage of construction. Although the constructioncycle is relatively short, its impact on the natural environment is great, and the resourcesand energy comsumption is also very concentrated. It is shown from researches that theenergy consumption at the stagy of construction can account for23%of that in itswhole life, or even as high as40%~60%in the low energy in buildings, Thus,it is veryimportant to study and strengthen the energy-saving in construcion.This paper summarizes the existing literature data, select the building materialsembodyed energy and transport energy consumption, according to the site investigation.Referencing "Chongqing city construction project valuation quota" combination, thispaper calculates the energy consumption of construction and the main buildingconstruction process. Though application in four different types of buildings, this papercalculates four different structure of building major building materials containingenergy consumption, transport energy consumption, energy consumption ofconstruction initial energy consumption, and the construction brick structure for3.88GJ/square meters, shear wall structure of5.30GJ/square meters, frame office building of6.98GJ/square meters, and the steel structure housing for the7.35GJ/square meters, atthe same time, the main part of the four kinds of structure of the building materialscontaining the energy consumption of total energy consumption of about90%.In addition, the paper also refers to other industries quota, analyzes the systemenergy consumption evaluation of construction, construction energy consumptionrecommend the use of unit area of construction energy consumption evaluation, provide guidance for energy-saving construction in the future, provide the basis for theevaluation of quantitative energy consumption construction. This paper also analyzesthe influence of construction on environment, summarizes the energy-savingoptimization measures of construction, and points out that only though the full range ofenergy-saving measures, strengthen the production of building materials, construction,transport energy consumption can reduce the construction initial energy consumption,thereby reducing the impact on the environment, to meet the requirements of people onlow carbon life.
