Under The View Of Ecology Of The Waterfront Landscape Planning And Design

With the urban sprawl, people’s requirements for environment quality ofwaterfront areas are gradually increasing. Getting closer to the nature and water, itpromotes development of water areas. Due to accelerated urbanization by excellentwaterfront locations, the waterfront landscape spatial structure and landscapeelements are changing, and the development of natural landscape and humanlandscape is unbalanced. Gradually increasing human damage to the environment ismaking the waterfront ecosystem vulnerable. Based on this background, the articlecarried out research on the waterfront landscape ecological planning and design.The article does research through method of documentary research, fieldresearch, comparative study and systematic study. Firstly, the article analyzes theprogress of waterfront landscape domestic and abroad to find a reference point, andanalyzes the existing problems; and comprehensive analysis of the basic concept ofthe waterfront landscape eco-design, ecological planning and design theory：Based onabove analysis, according to local conditions discusses the characteristics ofwaterfront urban, waterfront landscape planning and Design. Finally, with a caseanalysis based on Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-city, the article combines advancedwaterfront landscape design concepts and methods, adheres to the combination oftheory and practice, and discusses waterfront landscape planning and design inecological aspects in details. The authors hope this research can provide technicalsupports in waterfront landscape planning and design.
