the development of weapon system ask for better measure system. Nowadays,traditional ways of projectile velocity measurement have been replaced by the newways such as laser curtain velocimetry. But there are still much problems to beimproved in the existing laser curtain velocimetry.Based on the existing measuring system,a new laser curtain velocimetry hasbeen developed, which has better proformance. The following works has been done:1A new laser curtain velocimetry has been designed. The optical signaldetecting unit and the Data Acquisition and Control System have been fabricated.2The shape of optical signal has been analyzed and calculated. The calculatingresult has been proved by simulating examinations. A optical signal simulating andmonitoring unit has been designed. This unit could test the velocimetry without actualcannon shooting.3A signal amplifying and filter circuit has been designed to amplify and modifysignal. Based on much experiment the amplify and filter parameter has beenoptimized. The filter circuit could improve the system S/N and prevent interferencesuch as background light and insect. And by these means,the system stability hasbeen improved and the result is much more reliable.4Actual shooting experiments have been made to test this velocimetry. Theresult shows that this velocimetry could precisely measure the velocity of projectileand avoid the interference.Simulation and actual experiment results show that this velocimetry is accurateand insensitive of much interference. The result of a measurement is reliable and thesystem has matched the design. |
