The Evolution Of Contemporary Residential Area’s Form In The City Space Of China

Based on the evolution of contemporary residential area’s form in the city space ofChina since the reform, this paper adopt comparison method, systems analysis method,and statistical method to comprehensive analysis the characteristics of the evolution ofour contemporary residential area’s space form and obtain the inherent law. The aim isto provide a method or foundation for the development of area’s form of the city spacein future according to the experience gained and lessons learned in the course ofdevelopment of our contemporary living area space morphology.For part I, firstly it is state that the relationship the constituent elements and thedefinition of the spatial form of the residential area. Secondly, western theory connectwith the contemporary residential area’s form are dealt with. Finally, the case of theadvanced western residential area is introduced. The second part of the article, at firstthe modern residential area spatial form mode before the reform and opening up wasdiscussed, and subsequent to emphasis combing and summed up, after China’s reformand opening-up, China’s construction of residential areas experienced four stages ofdevelopment, infancy, big stage of development, diversification stage, enhance thequality of the stage. The last, the law of development of the morphology of living spacein China after the reform and opening up are summed up. The third part of the article,through the evolution of the law of development, analysis the influence factors of socialfactors, family structure factors, policy factors and lifestyle factors, and to provide areference for the next chapter. The fourth part of the article, the problems existing in theprocess of evolution in spatial structure and plane layout are proposed, and put forwarda strategy to deal with. The last part of the article, based on the above discussion, thedeveloping direction of our country residential space morphology in the future shouldtoward too diversity, community and ecological intelligent.
