Excessive Fe2+and Mn2+can not only be harmful to human health, but also elevatethe water chroma. Shenzhen water iron, manganese pollution status is unknown, and noenough process of removal of iron and manganese. Therefore, the investigation iron andmanganese content of Shenzhen water resource and the research of removal of iron andmanganese is very necessary.Firstly, the study on the Shenzhen water sources of iron, manganese pollutionshows that Dongbu water supply source and Dongshen water supply resource of iron,manganese pollution comes mainly from the Shenzhen local pollution; Shenzhensurface sources of iron mainly in the solid state and the percentage of dissolvedmanganese is higher. So adding manganese removal process is necessary. In summer,rainwater put ground iron and manganese pollutants into the water, resulting in waterpollution, and the pollutants deposit into the sediment; In winter, due to little rainfall,the water is relatively stable, and prone to stratification of the water, the sedimentpollutants released into the water, resulting in the phenomenon of excessive iron,manganese.Secondly, the experiments of the removal of manganese with potassiumpermanganate and chlorine dioxide indicate that potassium permanganate and chlorinedioxide dosing(to divalent manganese)is1.85:1and (2.8to3):1; Use ofpotassium permanganate the Pharmacy oxidation divalent manganese can be achievedin addition to the purposes of manganese removal with no byproducts and better able tosolve the actual problems of the waterworks. However, due to the limitations of thebyproducts of the chlorine dioxide, chlorine dioxide is the highest dosage of1mg/L,the maximum amount of dissolved manganese that can be oxidized to0.34mg/L.Finally, different filter Manganese Removal study found that black sand filter has abetter effect than natural manganese sand filter. Although the manganese content of rawwater fluctuations, the finished water manganese content bellow0.05mg/L; TheWaterworks S run conditions are conducive to ordinary quartz sand to form manganesesand and using manganese sand in waterworks S has some applicability. I proposedWaterworks S using “potassium permanganate and natural manganese sand filtration”process modification program, the cost of renovation is less than0.0051yuan per ton ofwater.
