Elastic-plastic Seismic Analysis And Study On Economy Of Multi-layer Steel Structure Housing

Steel structure housing has incomparable advantages compared with traditionalhousing structures, which speeds up the city’s pace of development, adapts to themorden society’s demands of development, and improves the people’s living quality.Therefore, we must learn the steel strcture housing more comprehensive from twoaspects contains technical performance and economic performance so that we canpromote the development of steel structure housing quickly and healthy.This thesis chooses three kinds of common multi-layer steel structure housingstyles including pure steel frame, steel frame brace and steel frame-concrete coretube, then using Midas/gen and Midas/building to design, calculate and analyzingall the structure models.This paper analyses the static performance of the three structure models,getting the mechanical characteristics and deformations of all the structure modelsunder horizontal static load and vertical static load.This paper analyses the dynamic performance of three structure models, gettingthe periods and vibration mode distribution by modal analysis, then comparingwhich among three models and summarizing the characteristics respectively.This paper does response spectrum analysis, elastic time-history analysis, staticelastic-plastic analysis and dynamic elastic-plastic analysis to all the structuremodels under frequent and rare earthquake, getting the performance index ofmodels such as relative storey displacement angle and ratio between shear andweight and distribution state of plastic hinge, then summarizing different seismicperformance of models.This paper designs the models of three structure styles under different seismicfortification intensity, compares and analysed the steel quantity of all the modelsand summarizes the economy and applicability of all the structure styles.This paper researches and contrasts the economy between multi-layer steelstructure housing and reinforced concrete structure housing from engineering directcost and engineering benefit, explaining steel structure housing has broaddevelopment prospect.
