As the high-speed and high-precision executive components, servo systems arewidely used in a variety of basic manufacturing equipment. Therefore, the qualityand performance of servo products is directly related to the overall level of China’snumerical control machine products. But the quality test and evaluation system isnot perfect in our country. Traditional test system can no longer meet the rapiddevelopment of modern servo system. So a new kind of automatic test system isdesigned in this paper.Based on the detailed analysis to the development trend of the testingtechnology together with current national testing standards, an integrated test systembased on virtual instrument, database, and network communication technology isdesigned in this paper. It can help store and manage the massive test data effectivelyand has realized a networked communication system.Firstly, a general introduction to the key technologies of servo test system isproposed in the paper. And an integration solution based on the interface adapter isgiven out by consideration of the testing requirements and existing equipmentresources.Secondly, according to the general design idea and principle of the test system,the overall structural framework of the test platform and software schedulingstrategy is designed. The overall network structure of the system is designed inlayers, which consists of advanced test instruments, user-friendly virtual interface,database server and real-time security alerts handle programs.Thirdly, a new network structure based on C/S and B/S mixed mode isproposed, which brings their advantages together. Build LAN layer with C/S modeto realize the real-time sharing of the test data. Apply B/S mode in the WAN layer tobuild the remote expert system.Finally, the design and debugging of the whole system have been finished.Some typical test items together with the related test results and waveforms havebeen put forward in the paper, which can prove the servo test system is functioningwell.
