As a principal research method of structural aseismic design, sha kingtable testing could only meet part of current requirement and not burdenfull-scale text by the limitation of itself size and load capacity. Hencestructural hybrid testing method with shaking table boosts and fills the gap. Itcombines numerical substructure simulated by computer and physical testingsubstructure, and to some extent makes up for impotency of full scale test withthe method of shaking table. This paper introduces development of overseas and domestic researchstatus of structure seismic test, substructure test and interfacial force obtainedfrom shaking table test. Details are as follows:Seismic responses of steel structure on El Centro seismic wave areanalyzed by SAP2000software, and interfacial forces of testing substructureare obtained.Based on prep analyzed results of interfacial force, differences ofinterfacial forces obtained from middle and side spans separately have beencompared, and relative distributed law has been analyzed.Loading condition of testing substructure is simulated by SAP2000anddifferences of seismic responses between substructure and prototype arecompared and analyzed.Loading conditions of the substructure were simulated and the differencesin response to substructure and the whole structure were studied in theconditions of simplifying the interface force, like bending moment, torque, and the reason for this difference was discussed. Further influence the twofactors of the stiffness and mass have on the substructure’s experimentalresults were stuidied.
