With the development needs of human society, resources and space, oceandevelopment and utilization increasingly have been frequent. especially seabedminerals and petroleum exploration and exploitation have been expanded. a greatdepth, wide range of long distance, high efficiency underwater operationalrequirements is researched. But the valve-regulated power source of underwater tool(Here in after referred to as the valve-regulated underwater power source) withcomplex device, unwieldy operation and inefficient use of energy has seriouslyhampered the pace of expansion to the deep water. So the The research on newunderwater power source on the field of science in the world ocean to adapt to thedeepwater have been de issue to solve recently.On the basis of relevant literature, in this paper, the research on the powersource of the underwater tool system domestic and foreign. A conventionalvalve-regulated electro-hydraulic servo system with direct-drive volume control(Direct Drive Volume Control, referred to as DDVC) electro-hydraulic servosystem(Here in after referred to as DDVC electro-hydraulic servo) of works isdevised. After comparatively analyzing their advantages and disadvantages,demonstrating the feasibility of using DDVC electro-hydraulic servo to take placethe valve-regulated electro-hydraulic servo. This paper design a set of small size,light weight, simple structure, easy operation, energy saving and environmentalprotection, efficient operation of the Direct Drive Volume Control underwater toolsystem power source(Here in after referred to as the direct drive underwater powersource). To adapt to the underwater environment requires, the power source isconstructed by the Watertight servo motor and the matching of the hydraulic pump,un-power up the oil program integrated valve blocks, preloaded sealed pressurecompensation tank and the coupling, etc. In order to verify its performance, thereciprocating underwater operations tools for verification background. On the basisof the mathematical model of integrated the synchronous motor servo speed controlsystem and pump control cylinder system. The direct drive hydraulic servo systemof underwater power source models are built in this paper. The direct driveunderwater power source for the PID controller is designed. The simulation analyzesof the dynamic characteristics of the underwater power source direct driveelectro-hydraulic servo system.Finally, the drive underwater power source for hydraulic servo systemsimulation platform is built which is including direct drive underwater power source, double rod symmetrical hydraulic cylinder to simulate the back and forth underwatertool, position feedback device, pressure and loading device and control devicesystem. using C++Builder visual programming to write experimental controlLanguage which including the system open-loop experiments, the location of theclosed-loop experiments. The system comprehensively detect direct drive hydraulicservo system of underwater power source with no-load, no-load pressure, load andload pressure, and analyze the experimental results in detail.With the experimental study of the direct drive hydraulic servo system ofunderwater power source, the correctness of the mathematical model is verified. Thefeasibility of using the DDVC electro-hydraulic servo system on the underwatersystem is proved. The result provide the experimental basis for further research onDDVC electro-hydraulic servo system and optimization of direct drive underwaterpower source designing.
