Carrying out the shield construction of the major diameter tunnel under ground area with soft and rich-water clay, since the water is rich in the construction site and the surrounding rock is main clay of the sludge or powder, the structure of the surrounding rock is loose and less-stability, and the tunnel’s diameter is so large, so in the carrying of the shield construction of the tunnel, it’s hard to avoid the turbulent to the earth lay and change the state of the soil body’s compressive stress and produce the results of earth surface sinking and the earth layer outing of the shape. These changes can have the harmful influence to the tunnel and the nearby buildings; even it could produce the hidden security peril, such as earth’s surface collapse or buildings toppling over. So it is necessary to research the effects of the carrying out of the construction to the nearby buildings deeply. This paper has done such major works as follow:(1) After reading a lot of literature of the shield tunnel construction, I have reviewed and concluded the influences about the construction to the earth’s layer and nearby buildings home and abroad.(2) In the essay. I’ve analyses the specific property of the rich-water soil and the effect and underground water to the surface sinking, studied the mechanism of the tunnel construction to the surface sinking and the forms of the expressions of the surface sinking, and also analyses the effective mechanism and the slope of two kinds of basis buildings—the sallower basis and deeper basis.(3) Relaying on the tunnel project’s stretch line of the inter-city railway between Beijing and Tianjin, adapting the MIDAS/GTS, the limited original software, we can make a numeral simulation to the two different buildings of sallower basis and deeper basis. Then to analyses the results of the surface sinking, the component and internal stress of the simulated buildings.(4)In the essay, I had put forward a suggestion monitor program separately to earth sinking in the construction, level remove of the soil body, underground water level and the influence to the nearby buildings sinking and incline.(5)Putting forward the controlling standard to the influence of carrying out the construction of the shield tunnel to the nearby buildings, the main work is to measure the buildings’ security degree by ready sinking standard of buildings. Analyses the controlling standard of prevent the building’s damage, including the active control measures of the optimization of the parameter and adopting the passive control measures, such as, to reinforce the basis, to make partitions to stake bracket and to reinforce the building itself. To the possible damage to the Chonghong Departments Store, a sallower basis one, we can use the optimization the construction parameter and reinforce basis of the building. Using MIDAS/GTS, the limited original software, to make a data simulation to the ChonghongDepartment Store that the construction has finished the shield tunnel project. Then to analyses the results and the data.
