The development of photovoltaic system in our country is rapid. The production of solarbattery in our country is much over other countries by the end of2011. There are so manyproblems with grid-connected technology. For the use of smart building we need to createelectricity for the building itself and also need to transmit the electricity to the grid. So we needsingle phase large power grid-connected inverter.This essay aims at the research of single phase10kW high frequency photovoltaicgrid-connected inverter. We reference to other grid-connected inverter in low power such assomeone power under10kW. We improve the structure of the main circuit and the controlmethod. We made a real circuit and achieve the purpose.This essay shows the main circuit structure and the calculate method of electricalcomponent for high frequency large power inverter. We also talk a lot about an IGBT driver usedto drive IGBTs. Then the simulation models of PV model, boost circuit, half-bridge circuit,rectifier and filter circuit, H-bridge circuit have been established. At last we made a real circuitand experiment on it.The result and analysis of whole system shows that there still have some difficulties tomake an inverter for both high frequency and large power applications. Large current will makethe distribute characteristic especially the inductance create high peak voltage at the switch-on orswitch-off moment. That may destroy the IGBT. So we need to prevent it.
