As the concerns of society about the environment of human’s dailylife,the research of living and working thermal comfort has been more andmore comprehensive。While the sleeping comfort and health need morestudy。In this research,a new bedside device is designed to improve thesleep quality,and test its capacity.We performed tests on this device regarding temperature and velocitydistribution as well as resistance in air volume of24m~3/h、30m~3/h and36m~3/h. The relation of pressure drop and air flow rate is obtained. Andevaluate its role in the improvement of sleep environment,and the resultsshow that the terminal device could supply fresh air to a wide area andwell-distributed air flow; its resistance is also relatively low. The terminaldevice can meet thermal comfort requirement while improve the air qualityof sleep environment.The air distribution simulation of three kinds of position like bed side、 beyond face and in the bed-rest was done,and also in different ambienttemperature. The result showed that the device in three position canimprove the environment of sleep partly all,and they need improved whenused;and if the temperature difference between the air flow and ambienttemperature is constant,the ambient temperature has little effect in thevelocity distribution;And the device has more obvious effects in higherambient temperature.
