As the uncertainty of the wind energy and the operating features of the wind power units, the output power of the wind farm is fluctuant and unpredictable. Large scale integration of the wind power into the grid may affect the electric quality and the safety and stability of the operation in the power system. The energy storage system can help reduce the volatility of wind power output, In order to use energy storage technologies.first we should understand the large-scale wind farm output power performance and the technical requirements of energy storage system.This paper describes the background of wind power and energy storage,and significance of wind power-energy storage joint system.Therefore,there has important significance to develop wind power-energy storage joint softwave.Then,based on statistics, this paper research and analysis the different characteristics of wind power at differernt time scales relying on the domestic history operational data of a typical wind farm. And summarize the operation rules and characteristic about rate of change of active power.According to requirements of wind power-energy storge joint system,develop PC data analysis software.The software is divided into four modules which based on VC++,wind power operation module,energy storage system operation module,the signal waveform simulation module and database management and maintenance modules. In the wind power system module,propose the interpolation-distance method and ARMA-based method to fill data,wind data sampling time-based methon to reduction In data. energy storage system operation analysis module, propose energy storage capacity calculation method which based on supply and demand balance,this method is called the load rate method which evaluation indicators are LPSP and EXC.At the same time,combined the average cost of storage capacity,this method has important guiding significance for compensating and optimizing wind farm output power.The software uses ADO technology to connect with the database,allowing users to load data and achieve the integration of applications and databases. Experimental waveforms provide effective help for analysising wind power and energy storge.
