With the continuous improvement of the gas turbine inlet temperature, film cooling technology has been become an important heat proof method to protect the turbine blade from high temperature. The flow near the leading edge, especially the vicinity of the stagnation line, is always associated with many factors, including the geometric parameters, pneumatic parameters and so on. Therefore, we must research into the flow and heat transfer characteristics of the leading cooling, to provide reliable informations for flim cooling design and improvement of turbine cascade.Firstly, this paper focuses on the cross flow over a single hole in a flat plate with the Detached-Eddy Simulation. Under the condition that the computed results agree with experimental data, this article analyzes the flow and heat transfer characteristics around the cylindrical straight hole and the curved hole, at the same time, the results are used to compared with performances of v2-f turbulent model, real k-ε and S-A turbulent models. And on this basis, this paper implements the DES method to investigate the effect of film cooling and the distribution of pressure in front of the leading edge for turbine cascade, besides, taking a thoroughly research into the three dimensional unsteady flow field near the cylindrical straight hole and the curved hole on the suction surface and pressure side of the turbine blade.
