With the rapid development of rubber and plastic industry as well as other polymermaterial industry, the internal mixer is playing a greater and greater role in polymermaterial production, and the requirement for the performance of the internal mixer ishigher than ever before, kinds of new-style internal mixer come forth. As far as mixer isconcerned, because of the batch technics, that is, feeding is batch, and dumping is batch,it is a waste of energy, and there are many difference among quality of rubber compound.Therefore, people put forward a new conception of continuous mixing, and designed aseries of continuous mixing equipment, the application of these devices make thepossibility of continuous production come true, improve productivity and quality ofrubber compound. However, present continuous mixing equipments have a disadvantage,that is, they can’t mix massive and poor flowability material, need special palletizingequipment, it restricts the application of present continuous equipments.To resolve this problem, we put forward a new-style continuous mixer, which canmix massive and high treacliness material. The operating principle is, mixing part adoptimproved synchronous rotor internal mixer, and dumping part adopt extruder, then thenew-style continuous mixer will achieve batch feeding and continuous dumping in oneequipment.The main work and achievement of this dissertation are as follows:Ⅰ.Based on former’s work, we finish the structure design of the mixer & extruderincorporate machine, especially the most important parts: the rotors, the dump device, thefeeding device. We print all the draws to have them produced by 4308 factory of PLA.Ⅱ.Research the mixing mechanism of the new rotor, analyse the mixing effect withADINA software. We specially analyse rubber’s flow while mixing and dumping toresearch the rotor’s mixing and dumping capability.Ⅲ.Research the extruding mechanism, thanks to the high temperature of the rubberdumped from mixer, we take the rubber as melt and get the extruder’s productivity Q_JWe get the mixer’s productivity Q_M by experience. To have the mixer & extruderincorporate machine work continuously, the productivity of mixer and extruder must be equal, that is, Q_J=Q_M.Ⅳ.Adjust the mixer & extruder incorporate machine, make out experiment blueprint to testify the production continuity, and do the experiment.Ⅴ.According to the result of rubber’s quality, modify the production continuitytheory.Finally, we do some improvement of the mixer & extruder incorporate machine,and get a perfect production continuity theory.
