The destruction of equilibrium state of the original stress from the inner rock body around the mining area by underground mining,makes the rock stratum generate moving,deformation and destruction.When the mining area reaches a certain range,the movement starting at the slope will extend to ground surface. Surface deformation, settlement and mountain landslide etc caused by the movement,not only destroy the ecological environment,but also do harm to the personal safety.The geological hazards,such as mountain landslide collapse and so on, caused by underground mining especially in the center-west region, have made great loss to the country.Therefore it’s necessary to study the collapse mechanism of rock slope.In this paper, the project background is Zenzi Rock of Jinfo Mountain in Nanchuan,Chongqing as,the paper uses FLAC-3D and UDEC as numerical simulation means and calculate and analyze different conditions according to the data measured by the detailed investigation to the field and the local experimental data of rock mechanics.Taking advantage of FLAC-3D in calculation and analyzation of the overall change of the model and seting four conditions,which are natural condition and gradual excavation conditions of the ore body respectively, thus provides the influence of the excavation to the collapse bodies and the relationship between the collapse bodies and surrounding blocks. Taking advantage of UDEC in calculation and analyzation of the distinct block and selecting different parameters under different environment background, thus provides the displacement,crack width and stress distribution of rock and soil mass of the slope under unexcavating,half-excavating and complete excavating state.According to the above calculation results,an indoor model test is carried out which uses the similar material mixture ratio but has innovation in the experiment process.At last,according to the experimental result and the monitor and reconnaissance to the field, analysis should be made, then the influence of the mining process on the slope stability and the occurrence process of landslide disaster are provided. The test result can be used in landslide control in the future.
