At present, because of backward method of crude oil storage tankmultiphase medium measurement and production control,serious stealing oil,lack of advanced monitoring method and low automation management level,crude oil storage tank multiphase medium measurement and remote monitoringsystem was designed and developed. Accurate and real-time oil storage datawere provided by the system for production managers.First of all, anti-theft method of current extensive used was analyzedin-depth,and a perimeter protection device based on infrared detector wasdesigned according to actual situation on site.And a kind of anti-theft alarmdevice for integrating proximity switch and oil discharge valve was presented.The ultrasonic liquid level sensor was used to detect liquid level for real-time incase of crude oil spill. Secondly, the design process of hardware and software ofdata acquisition system based on ATMEGA128single-chip microcontroller wasgiven in the thesis. Thirdly, the hardware model of crude oil measurement wasbuilded based on density method.In the thesis, the principles, characteristics andcalibration methods of pressure sensor, temperature sensor and ultrasonic liquidlevel wave sensor were analyzed. Artificial neural network was studied. Thus,error compensation control method of crude oil measurement model wasproposed based on multi sensor information fusion of improved artificial neuralnetwork. Finally,through analysis and research of development model andarchitecture of software system, the monitoring center application system whichcontained three layer architecture was developed.The design process of database,data access layer and presentation layer were concrete introduced,also therealized process of each function module were given in the thesis.Through debugging and running many times in the laboratory,the resultsindicated that crude oil metering accuracy was high,the system was stable andreliable,the expected goal was achieved. Therefore, by combination of artificial intelligence algorithms and practical measuring technique, the measurement ofcrude oil was effectively improved.
