The main advantage of using finite volume method is able to handle complex structured grid, can do arbitrary triangular (or polygon) partition, and can satisfy the law of the physical conservation discrete form, more easy to set up a conservative scheme. But the discrete format is nonlinear differential equations, constitutive relations need to be dependent on the complex, solving this model brings certain difficulty.
