This paper mainly based on research status of laser-arc hybrid welding technology inthe various countries,mainly research material is S355J2W+N weathering steel;Researchdeeply on the characteristics of laser-arc hybrid welding,According to the weldingexperience,Firstly,the specimens were laser-arc hybrid welding experiment,To find theoptimal process parameters,Then weld is bending,stretching and other mechanicalproperties of the experimental,Then its hardness test.Then analysising weld macroscopicmorphology and welded seam on the microstructure.The results show that laser-arc hybridwelding does not require both sides welding,only need a welding can be,welded a side toachieve both sides effect of molding.The welding process is relatively stable, weld forminga good and splash smaller,weld appearance is beautiful.T joint welding,Mainly to solve the question is back seam forming well is difficult, Tbefore welding,firstly,both ends weld solidly,And to ensure the assembly gap is about0.5mm~0.7mm.Then the laser-arc hybrid welding,to find the optimal processparameters.The result shows that,T shape welding10mm and12mm plate adopts2layersof welding,16mm welding plate adopts3layers. After the welding test, metallographic test,electron microscope to SEM.Then analysising microstructure of the weld,because it cannottensile,bending mechanical properties test.Butt mechanical properties of equalthicknesscan meet the requirements of.T type joints must be able to meet the requirements.The welding process of butt16mm thick weathering steel and T type is basically thesame.To determine the optimum test parameters.And the tensile and bending tests onsamples, tensile specimens of parent material fracture, ductile fracture, the fracture surfacewas analyzed by metallography and SEM. According to a scanning electron microscope,analysising the weld fracture.The fracture surface of welding bead is belonging to dimplefracture after analysis of SEM analysis.The results show that welding bead was dividedinto laser weld area, laser-arc composite area and arc area.Microstructure laser is finer.Depending on the hardness test, the hardest area appeared in the laser area.
