Abstract/Summary:
As the rapid development of global economic and the rapid growth of the fossil energy consumption, the widespread use of fossil fuels, has brought numerous benefits to industrialized societies, and this lead to the energy supply cannot meet the requirements of sustainable development. The biomass utilization is recycling, sustained, environmental-friendly and become a hot topic in the world. The production on high-value products from corncob residues (CCR) with modern biotechnology techniques should be developed for better economy. Thus, the preparation process on cello-oligosaccharide and lignin from CCR will be optimized in this paper.Firstly, the CCR was hydrolyzed into cello-oligosaccharide of the degree2-10, and then solid-liquid separation, decolour and ion exchange processes were performed. The products were obtained with spray drying.Secondly, lignin was extracted from the CCR. Moreover, the second separation was performed after alkali-soluble, solid-liquid separation, acid precipitation. The polymer material-lignin was prepared. Finally, the experiment proved that cello-oligosaccharide was utilized by Bifidobacterium, and its conversion efficiency by Bifidobacterium is similar to that of glucose. However, cello-oligosaccharide was not utilized and absorped by the human being and E. coli so that it was delieved into the intestinal tract, and become the culture of the intestinal bifidobacteria. Thus, the health fuction of the cello-oligosaccharide products were identified.
