Eco-environmental stress is defined as the factors which decrease the sustainability or influence evolution of the ecosystem. It is also a significant element in indicating or forecasting the states of an ecosystem or the regional eco-environmental. The present researches of the eco-environmental stress mostly focus on the mechanism of the vegetation, while researches of the regional eco-environmental stress incline on the qualitative study which means that the general quantitative studies are comparatively rare. This study had adopted20factors from8kinds of stress of the natural variations and human activities so as to build up the evaluation system of the regional eco-environmental stress. The layout and changes of the eco-environmental stress in Guangdong Province from2000to2010are qualitatively evaluated.,Finally with the help of ArcGIS analysis and intuitive reflect the province and around the city cluster of factors of stress and stress focus and radius. The result shows that the stress of Guangdong Province in the past decade is in deeper trend, the stress index of the four areas in Guangdong Province as well. The stress index of the human activities in2000,2005,2010is546.23,880.62,1225.47,respectively. The stress index of the areas is ranked as the Pearl River Delta> East Guangdong> West Guangdong> North Guangdong. The stress of Shenzhen is the most serious. The stress index in2000,2005,2010is3597.01,6702.17,9666.83,respectively.Comparatively,the stress of Heyuan is the least serious. The stress index in2000,2005,2010is85.4,101.19,120.34,respectively.The results also show that the stress of the natural disasters in Guangdong Province shows an increasing trend after the decrease. The stress of west Guangdong is being decreasing while the stress of north Guangdong is increasing. The stress of Pearl River Delta shows a decreasing trend after the increase, but stress of the eastern shows an increasing trend after the decrease. Among the cities in Guangdong, the areas affected by the natural disasters in Zhanjiang are the most while the areas in Shenzhen are the least.ArcGIS clustering analysis shows that:2000-2010, Guangdong human activity stress comprehensive stress index remained relatively stable spatial pattern, high value zones, mainly in Guangzhou, Dongguan and Shenzhen, and other cities in the local clustering analysis is not significant correlation; Comprehensive stress index in2000, the Guangdong province natural disaster stress high value (HH) area is mainly located in Zhanjiang, and high value is mainly composed of low around the outliers (HL) in the pearl river delta, Zhuhai, Jiangmen and other cities in the local clustering analysis is not significant correlation.Stress analysis results for the radius and center of gravity:from2000to2010, the composite index of stress focus in human activity of Guangdong province Dongguan city districts, stress radius around the scope of the is given priority to with and north Guangdong pearl river delta region of the city.
