Porphyrin and metalloporphyrin have been special structures. On the basis of theporphyrin ligand, link with the BOC protection of proline, new tailed porphyrins areclose to natural amino acids. In recent years, the researches will have the potentialapplication in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer, sensors and biologicalmacromolecules types of recognition. The application of new proline tailedporphyrins will be more and more attention.Three different substituent of proline tailed porphyrins were synthesized in thissection:5-[4-N-(tert-Butoxycarbonyl)-L-prolinecoxylpropyloxy]phenyl-10,15,20-triphenylporphyrin(PTP),5-[4-N-(tert-Butoxycarbonyl)-L-prolinecoxylpropyloxy]phenyl-10,15,20-tri(4-chlorophenyl)porphyrin(PCP),5-[4-N-(tert-Butoxycarbonyl)-L-prolinecoxylpropyloxy]phenyl-10,15,20-tri(4-methoxyphenyl) porphyrin (PMP), and theirtransition metal Zn, Co, Ni complexes. The9compounds were characterized and theirproperties were studied.The following is the route of synthesis the porphyrin complexes: Three different substituent of proline tailed porphyrins have been characterizedby using elemental analyses, UV-Vis, IR, MS and1HNMR spectra. Finally, thesynthesized compounds have been identified as the target product.CD spectrum showed that it was split in the soret-band and had a cottonsplitting effect intensity. It has a positive of the cotton effect in the short wave, andhas a negative of the cotton effect in the long wave, there is a good symmetry. Themetal is different, it shows that the CD spectra are different.Using Fluorescence spectrum, the electron-donor group (PMP) makes thefluorescence quantum yield of porphyrin molecules and intensity of fluorescenceincrease, however, the electron-attracting group (PCP) makes it decrease.The Metalloporphyrin was assembled with mesoporous silica SBA-15andMCM-41resulting in the assembly materials PTPZn/SBA-15and PTPZn/MCM-41,Based on SBA-15and MCM-41as the carrier.They have been characterized byusing XRD, TEM, UV-Vis spectra of solids, IR, and. Nitrogen isothermaladsorption.Finally, the result indicated that the channels of SBA-15and MCM-41have been filled with PTPZn. Discuss the effects of fluorescent properties of materialbefore and after assembly. After assembly of mesoporous material than simple PTPZnhas stronger fluorescence emission spectrum.
