The quality and efficiency of aquaculture are conditioned by traditional low-level production model. The most of aquatic breeding farm relies on to work artificially, the equipment of aquaculture are also out of data. The unique equipment of aquaculture is an aerator. In order to implementation high yield and high efficiency with low cost, the intelligent water quality monitoring system is needed.In order to realize the real time monitor and informatization management of the water quality of aquaculture industry, the real time water quality monitoring solution based on wireless sensor network (wsn) was introduced. The water quality monitoring system was designed based on the core technology of the internet of things such as:ZigBee, GPRS and the sensor technology for real-time water quality monitoring. The water level, dissolved oxygen, the temperature and video parameters could be collected in real time, analyzed, displayed and managed. There are five parts included in the thesis:The first part:The functional requirements of the system.According to the demand analysis of the system, the parameter such as temperature, PH, dissolving oxygen amount, water level was presented and the design requirments was identified. The technology architecture of the system was further analised. Technology platform of the software development and the designing ideas of three tier structure were identified.The second part:The general design of the system.To lay solid foundation for the selection of key equipment, the design of hardware circuit and software, the design goal and the design principle of this system are introduced. The functional architecture and the work flow of this system are discussed as well.The third part:The design of hardware circuit. According to analysis the characteristics of various sensors, the water quality parameter acquisition node based on CC2530, the node based on GTM900-C GPRS and the node based on ATMEGA48were designed; the control node for the aerator based on CC2530, the Zigbee-GPRS wireless gateways based on CC2530and MG323GPRS, and the hardware circuit of the Zigbee-TCP/IP gateways based on CC2530and STR912F were designed. The hardware environment of water quality monitoring system was developed.The fourth part:The water quality monitoring system’s software design.The protocol among the network node of wirelee sensor network, the gateways and communication server was planned. The thesis analyzes software development process of water quality parameter acquisition, gateways and Web display.The fifth part:The system testing.The system characteristicof wireless gateways based on CC2530and Zigbee-GPRS was tested. The whole system function and performance was evaluated. The teset results show that this system meets the specified performance index.
