High-speed machining has great economic value.Scholars dedicated to theresearch in the field of high-speed cutting and has got a lot of outstandingachievements in the past few decades. However, high-speed cutting problem is acomplicated thermo-mechanical coupled problem. Reveal the change rule inhigh-speed cutting temperature field is important for the optimization oftechnologies. In this paper all kinds of measurement methods has been discussed andCCD method has been selected as a new measuring technology. An experimentalset-up with CCD detector has been operated. In the course of high-speed cutting ofTi6Al4V,with this CCD temperature measuring platform, the temperature ofwool-work interface has been detected. The research work has been done in this thesisincludes the following aspects:1.A numerical model of orthogonal cutting based on Ti6Al4V is presented byusing the finite element method and the temperature field of tool-work interface issimulated. By comparison, CCD method has advantages on temperaturemeasurement in the high-speed cutting processing.2.Equipped with the optical amplification device, the light source device andthree coordinates mediation platform, the CCD temperature measuring platform isconvenient to zoom in and focus. The post-processing of gathered information isfinished by the date processing system with using VB and MATLAB.3.High-speed cutting platform was built up with Hopkinson pressure bar. Specialtools have been designed to realize the adjustment of cutting thickness and cuttingspeed.4.Analyse the temperature field of Ti6Al4V in processing of high-speed cuttingand summarize the rule of variety on tool-work interface temperature fields.
