On Ecological Civilization And Its Value In The Perspective Of Philosophy

Since the middle of the20th century, with the speeding up of industrializationand modernization process, the increasingly serious ecological crisis that makehuman beings into an unprecedented development predicament, how to overcomethe disadvantages of industrial civilization, build the harmonious relationshipbetween human and nature, it has become a great era task faced by the mankind. Thegovernment and the people in all countries of the world actively seek out ways andmethods to get rid of predicament, and ecological civilization thought began to enterpeople’s field of vision and gradually has become the hot issue of theoreticalresearch, as well its contemporary value has come into being. Ecological civilizationis the product of human rational reflection on the traditional industrial civilization, isalso a new civilization form following the agricultural civilization and industrialcivilization form and the new idea and new stage of social development. Humanbeings make the choice of a new development model of civilization when humanface the development predicament of society and reflect the traditional developmentmode, thus deepening the discussion and study of ecological civilization is of greattheoretical and practical significance.In this paper, under the horizon of philosophy, the essential connotation ofecological civilization and the related theoretical basis carries on the discussion andresearch, and analysis and expounds the value implication of the construction ofecological civilization. The author thinks that the ecological thoughts of Marx notonly fit ecological idea of Chinese traditional philosophy, but also inherit thereasonable component of western enlightenment thinkers ecological thought, andcriticize even transcend the enlightenment of western ecological thought and theconcept of Chinese traditional philosophy of ecological, these have important value to the construction of contemporary ecological civilization. In this paper, in theperspective of theory, based on the theory of Marxist ecological thought, reflectingthe reality problem, digestion of the binary opposition between subject and object,both oppose anthropocentrism and ecological centre doctrine. In practice, inheritingand developing the theory essence of Marxism ecological thought, buildingsocialism with Chinese characteristics of ecological civilization, in order to realizethe human and the nature, man and society, interpersonal relationship harmoniouscoexistence. This article will expound ecological civilization from the following fiveaspects and its value:The first chapter is the introduction. Mainly expounds three aspects: theresearch purpose and significance of the topic, research status at home and abroad,research methods and innovation points of this paper.The second chapter would explain the theory of ecological civilization. First ofall, explaining the connotation of the ecological civilization from the angle ofphilosophy, pointing out the importance of ecological civilization from theperspective of diachronic and synchronic angles. From three aspects that include thechange of thinking mode, the transformation of development mode and the change ofconsumption patterns to discuss the essence of ecological civilization.The third chapter would explore the philosophical basis of construction ofecological civilization. Mainly from the Chinese traditional ecological philosophy,Marx and Engels’ ecological thought, civilization thoughts of the ecological Marxistecological and the Scientific Outlook on Development of ecological philosophy fouraspects discusses the necessity of the construction of civilization, and the maincontent of the theoretical basis for detail.The fourth chapter would elaborate the features of reality and transcendenceabout Marx ecology thought. Since the third chapter has explored philosophical basisof construction of ecological civilization in detail, this chapter would mainly revealthe theoretical guidance of the construction of ecological civilization. Marx andEngels’ ecology philosophy thought is not only fit for Chinese traditional ecologicalthoughts, but also inherit the reasoned core of the enlightenment ecological thoughts in modern times and enlighten the current ecological philosophy ideas. highlightingthe superiority of Marx and Engels ecological thoughts through the comparison andanalysis, further pointing out that it is the guiding ideology through the full text, andemphasis on under the guidance of Marxist ecological to construct ecologicalcivilization.The fifth chapter mainly would expound the value of ecological civilizationconnotation. First of all, this chapter theoretically expounds that the ecologicalcivilization is a rational criticism of "anthropocentrism", to achieve the harmony ofboth the man and the nature; Secondly, this paper discusses that the ecologicalcivilization not only inherit the rational kernel of modern western ecological thoughtand also tremendously develop Marx’s ecological thought; Third, in practice, thispaper discusses that the construction of ecological civilization is the valueorientation of global, and indicates that the key lies in the system construction;Finally, the part introspects the root of the ecological dilemma in the construction,and discusses the stagnation of the construction practice of ecological civilizationfrom the overall layout of "Five–in-One" in China.
