| Solar energy is one kind of clean and renewable energy which is rare andavailable. Using solar cells is one of the main ways to get solar energy. Because ofsome merits, such as ease of large scale manufacturing, low cost, light weight andcompatibility with flexible substrates, the development of organic polymerphotovoltaic cells becomes more and more important. But Fullerene C60has somedisadvantages, such as phase separation and cluster effect in process of preparation, chemical modification of Fullerene C60is necessary. This paper designs andsynthesizes some fullerene C60derivatives.Firstly, utilizing the Meldrum’s acid as starting materials, the malonic acid monoester was synthesized by esterification with dodecanol, then reacted with t-butanol, asymmetric malonic acid di-ester was prepared, finally one fullerene C60derivative(2-1) was synthesized by Bingel reaction, and its photovoltaic properties werecharacterized by cyclic-voltammetry (CV) and UV spectram. Meanwhile, thedeprotective reaction of compound (2-1) was investigated. Then we designed a new fullerene derivatives based on the growth of carbonchain which can increase the solubility. Hydroquinone and bromine octane as startingmaterials were used to prepare alkoxy phenol through Williamson reaction, theoptimum reaction conditions was obtained by orthogonal test. The alkoxy phenol wasreacted with Malonic acid to prepare asymmetry ester with malonic acid functionalgroups, then reacted with hydroxyl compounds. An asymmetric double estercontaining malonic acid functional groups was prepared, finally one fullerene C60derivative (3-1) was synthesized by Bingel reaction, This fullerene derivative (3-1)has long carbon chain and its photovoltaic properties were characterized bycyclic-voltammetry (CV) and UV spectram. In order to improve the solubility of fullerene derivatives which took off thetertiary butyl, the substituent was redesigned, another kind of fullerene derivative wassynthesized, Methoxy benzene methanol was used as the starting material, after a fewsteps esterification reaction, asymmetric double ester was prepared containingmalonic acid functional groups, finally one C60fullerene derivatives (4-1) was prepared by the Bingel reaction, the photoelectric properties were characterized bycyclic-voltammetry (CV) and UV spectram. |
