| Recently, design and synthesis of organic-inorganiciodometallates hybrids have attracted much attention owing to theirstructural diversity and potential applications, such as photovoltaiccells, switchable NLO devices, catalysis, ferroelectric propertiesand optical material. Especially for iodoplumbates, organic aminesas structure-directing agents play a decisive role in the modulationof structure and properties. Therefore, it is very important to probestructural directing mechanism for the research of synthesis andstructure-property relationships of novel organic-inorganiciodoplumbate hybrids. In this paper, directed by diprotonated-organic diaminescontaining both primary and tertiary ammonium groups, sevennovel iodoplumbates have been synthesized solvothermally. Theconclusions are listed as follow: Firstly, structural anasysis andcomparision exhibit interesting structural transition fromnonperovskite to perovskite type iodoplumbates due to the unique hydrogen bonding interactions and steric effects at theorganic-inorganic interface. Secondly, solvents can effectivelymodulate the crystal structure as one of the crystallizingcomponents. Lastly, their optical absorption reveals a regulardecrease from nonperovskite to perovskite. |
