Synthesis And Properties Of Fluoroacrylate Copolymer

The fluoroacrylate oil-proof agent was used to make the paper against oil by internal sizing and external sizing.It has a protective screen on the top of paper to preserve the paper ventilation property, flexibility, strength, print property and colour.The paper with oil-proof agent was widely used in food packaging and our daily life. And many attentions from the world have been paid on this area.The water-proof agent for paper was successfully prepared with MM A as the mainly monomer, AIBN as the initiator, acetone as the dispersion medium. The paper exerted with water-proof agent was detected by Cobb(30s). The result showed that water-proof agent had excellent properties.The oil-proof agent for paper was prepared by using fluoroacrylate, and it was characterized by FTIR and laser diffraction particle size analyzer. The influences of the proportion of the monomers were discussed. The effect of reaction temperature, reaction time and dosage of initiator to the percent conversion was focused. And we have got the scheme to prepare the oil-proof agent.The oil-proof agent was researched by internal sizing.The influences of the beating degree and the density of the paper and the period which papermaking additives settles in the pulp were discussed. The effect of oil-proof dosage, waterproof dosage and dosage of retention aid on oil-proof properties of the paper was focused. The paper was characterized by SEM when it was applied with oil-proof agent. The result showed that oil-proof agent had excellent properties.The oil-proof agent was researched by external sizing. The effect of oil-proof dosage, the cationic starch dosage and PVA dosage aid on oil-proof properties of the paper is focused by surface sizing. The physical performance of the paper is also discussed when it was applied with surface sizing agent. The paper was characterized by SEM, and using Oil Kit Test-TAPPI557, the result showed that the oil repellent grade was measured to be9when the oil-proof dosage is0.6%the cationic starch dosage is1.0%, and PVA dosage is0.8%.The paper surface strength, tensile strength, folding endurance and resistance index were respectively increased by45.2%,9.3%,22.2%and7.8%.
