Fire is one of five major disasters in coal mine. It’s not only burn a lot of coal resources,but also cause casualties and economic losses, affecting the coal mine production safetyseriously. Fire produces a large amount of poisonous gas and heat, then formation fire windpressure. Under the influence of fire wind pressure, air is easily to be disturbed, even the air inthe whole ventilation system. These phenomena cause heavy losses. Spontaneous fire hastaken70%in the total of mine fire.Therefore,the research of mine spontaneous combustionhas significant value for the mine safety and social stabilization.In addition, it has greatsignificance for formulating appropriate fire-fighting plan to research the prevention andcontrol technology of spontaneous combustion according to the characteristics of the coalmine.The research of the rule of smoke flow in the mine fire is the basis of cognizing the lawof mine spontaneous fire,building the theory of prediction,doing the technology ofprevention and cure research.By analyzing and summarizing the law of smoke occurrenceand development,the mathematical model and physical model of smoke flow during fire areestablished. The boundary conditions and initial parameters of model are set by CFX software,and fire smoke flow properties are simulated and computed under unsteady properties. Theconclusions are as followed: the smoke flow from the middle to both sides with no ventilationis symmetrical after the coal spontaneous combustion; in the condition of ventilation, as thewind speed increases, smoke flow lower until it does not flow.Taking top-coal caving face of a coal mine, this article also study on comprehensivecontrol of spontaneous combustion technology. According to the laboratory experimental results, the prediction of spontaneous combustion is decided to enhance, the use of nitrogeninjection and grouting the main inhibitor of fire, as well as the nitrogen foam fire-fightingtechnologies such as the rapid combination of spontaneous combustion integrated controltechniques. These techniques can guide control the spontaneous combustion of very soft, easyto spontaneous combustion, high gas outburst thick seam mining.
