In recent years, the market began to flourish in carpet industry; especially the manufacture of small and medium size carpet put forward higher requirements to the flexibility of carpet weaving technology, traditional carpet weaving technology has been difficult to meet the market demand for carpet. The application of CNC technology in the field of carpet weaving, can accelerate the production efficiency, ensure the quality and promote the development of carpet weaving industry, is the inevitable trend of the development of carpet weaving equipment. Due to the small and medium size carpet has no uniform standard format and color variety, therefore, have a greater need for a dedicated flexible intelligent equipment to accomplish this kind of carpet weaving.During the weaving process, when a ball of yarn run out, or color change, usually in the yarn connected another ball of yarn or another color textile process, to ensure automatic equipment continuous carpet weaving. At present, there is no automatic knotting device in grit connection process, while yarn knotting plays a vital role in textile weaving industry, so Mechanical Engineering school and a textile equipment company cooperated to develop an intelligent system creel projects aimed at solving grit automatic knotting and other related problems.This paper studies the development background of knotted yarn, knotted in the use and development of various industries, and programs experimental study, completed the design agency design and control systems. Roving knotting uses glue bonding method, problems including cut, flash, dispensing etc, have been solved in the bonding process by experimental methods.
